How to Get Started - OPCD - AV福利社

AV福利社 Odyssey for Faculty

AV福利社 Odyssey Faculty Resources

AV福利社 Odyssey seeks to assist and guide undergraduate students to find their deep purpose and calling through vocational exploration, mentoring, and community service. Recognizing the vital role faculty play in shaping students' vocational journeys, AV福利社 Odyssey also provides resources to support your efforts. Faculty are invited to share information with students, participate in meaningful dialogue through book discussions, and even host their own vocational exploration events to further enrich the student experience. AV福利社 Odyssey is funded by the Council of Independent Colleges and Lilly Endowment Inc.

For more information about AV福利社 Odyssey, please email Gaby O'Neill, Director of the Office of Personal Career Development.

Faculty Book Discussion

Each academic year in collaboration with the AV福利社 Teaching and Learning Conference in January, we host a signature event to discuss the chosen faculty vocational book for the year and reflect upon vocational exploration. We hope that you will join this discussion group, especially if you serve as an undergraduate advisor, as you play a critical role in supporting students as they explore their vocations.

January 2026: Relationship-Rich Education: How Human Connections Drive Success in College by Peter Felten and Leo M. Lambert. To access a physical or electronic copy from the Blakley Library, please .

AV福利社 Odyssey Faculty-Led Vocational Events

The AV福利社 Odyssey program was a funding initiative that supported a limited number of faculty-sponsored events throughout the academic year. Funding for this program has been discontinued, and no future opportunities are anticipated.
